The ACTS 2 Project provides support to African-American Alzheimer’s caregivers. Through our FREE caregiving support sessions you will learn the essential skills needed to support your loved ones. In addition, ACTS 2 will provide FREE telephone-based training and support sessions when you need them. .

Florida Council on Aging

The Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling (FCCG) provides information and support services for problem gamblers, their families, employers and others.

Florida Telecommunications Relay

The Florida Telecommunications Relay is a statewide organization that administers the Specialized Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program for citizens of Florida who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf/Blind and Speech Impaired. Also provides a Relay service (dial 711) that enables hearing and/or speech impaired individuals to communicate by telephone with others who do not have special equipment.

Safe and Mobile Seniors is a virtual "one stop shop" for transportation safety and mobility information for drivers and pedestrians 65 years and older living in Florida.

Senior Employment Information

  • Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is administered by the U.S. Department of Labor and serves low-income persons who are 55 and older and have poor employment prospects. Eligible individuals are placed in part-time community service positions with a goal of transitioning to unsubsidized employment.
  • Employ Florida Marketplace Florida's official online portal to virtual job-matching services and many other workforce resources. It's a powerful tool, created through partnership between government and the private sector, to respond to workforce needs in our state.
