How You Can Help
SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders)
Specially trained volunteers can assist with health insurance
by answering questions, providing information, comparing policies,
organizing paperwork, and filing claims and appeals on behalf
of Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries.

Meals on Wheels
Our service providers rely heavily on volunteers to help support this portion of the Older Americans Act program. Volunteers deliver meals to homebound seniors Monday - Friday between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Volunteers can be scheduled anywhere from one day a month to five days a week, depending on their interest and availability. Contact your local Lead Agency for more information.
